Your Message Seasoned by Love

The Love Message

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth

out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth

is not made perfect in love. 73

The wisdom of this scripture far exceeds what was not known scientifically during the time this was written. Deep within the brain is a region known as the limbic system. Within this region exists two emotions: Love and Fear. Let's see how these two emotions first appeared and affected the heart of man.

God created in Adam (man) in His image – LOVE. Remember: love needs a home. So man was created with the need for companionship to house Love – "And God said, 'It is not good that man should be alone.' "74 God then created the woman out of Adam – who was made in the image of LOVE. Adam said, "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh..." 75 Years later, the Lord told Moses, “Thou canst see my face. For there shall no man see me, and live.” 76 But yet, Adam, was able to commune with God in his human state because he was made in God’s image: LOVE. The inspired Bible says, “Can two walk together, except they be agreed?” 77 This is key.

The opening statement of this chapter cited 1 John 4:18, which says in essence, "There is no fear in God" – because "God is love" – and man was made in God’s image; but something happened: The first recorded conversation in the Bible between God and man was after Adam and the woman disobeyed God by eating the forbidden fruit. Something entered into the heart of man: Fear.

God, walking in the cool of the day, asked, "Adam. Where are you?"

Adam: “I heard your voice in the garden. And I was afraid...”

The Apostle John said, "There is no fear in love..." Note the absence of love in Adam's response. This is the first time two nature’s stand in direct opposition to one another. Fear cannot exist in God’s presence, and Adam had to leave God's presence from the Garden of Eden; but Jesus (LOVE) came to die for man to restore mankind back to the Father, because LOVE needs a home – “It is not good that man should be alone.” My friend, we need God – not an uninspired organization like the Watchtower Society.
